'''Spock's Beard''' occurs as progressive rock band formed in 1992 in Los Angeles by brothers Neal and Alan Morse. Neal played keyboards & was a lead vocalist, when well as existence a primary ballad maker; Alan plays electric guitar. A pair teamed by owning fellow musicians Nick D'Virgilio (drums) and Dave Meros (bass) and released their debut album, The Light, in 1995. A quartet were later on joined by seasoned keyboardist Ryo Okumoto.

A band was known as for the Star Trek episode "Mirror, Mirror", where a crew enters the parallel universe where the parallel Mr. Spock is differentiated by his beard.

Neal Morse as well participated in the prog supergroup TransAtlantic.
